Run! Fight! Or......Hide!

Which of these behaviors do you choose now? You might say none of these, of course! Well, it happens that when you are under stress the only way your brain knows how to behave is in one of these three ways.

You might be running, doing one thing after the other without thinking. Just speeding through life while time flies by. Perhaps you are picking up fights for any reason, or snapping at others now and then. Maybe you just gave up and are feeling depressed.


I get it! Very often life becomes so overwhelming that you have no option other than reacting in certain pre-conditioned ways. That's just how your personality is, right?


No. Sorry to say you're wrong if you answered yes. Your personality is merely your brain responding to situations in a way that is was conditioned to do so.


If you want to create something new in your life you have to go beyond your personality because only new thoughts lead to new choices, new behaviors, new experiences, new emotions, a new You. Not by reacting to the environment, but by creating your reality.


According to Dr. Joe Dispenza, the formula to generate change is Thinking-Doing- Being. That is, by thinking in a different way you will do different things, and in consequence you will be someone different.
