Psychologist & Psychotherapist in Private Practice

I have extensive experience of over 12 years working with infants, children, individuals, and couples from my own private practice in Rio de Janeiro, as well as delivering support for my clients in their school settings. Marked by an integrative, experiential, and systemic approach, I deliver counseling, coaching, emotional support, and psycho-education. I hold experience with special needs children and teenagers in the autism spectrum, as well as in other developmental disorders, eating disorders, ADHD, and LGBTQIA matters. I see clients online and at office according to the client's convenience or preference.

Master in Psychoanalysis (Freud & Lacan) and Master in Marriage & Family Therapy 

Master degree in Psychoanalysis, Health and Society from Universidade Veiga de Almeida in Rio de Janeiro, and Master's Degree in Marriage & Family Therapy at Nova Southeastern University. NSU strives to educate and train students to become competent Couples and Family therapists with the ability to work with culturally and sexually diverse populations and marginalized groups in individual, couple, family, group and organizational settings.

AAMFT member

CFARS - Children's Functional Assessment Rating Scale Certification.  Developed to evaluate behavioral health outcomes for children and adults.

HIPAA (Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act) - Primarily HIPAA concerns the privacy and security of patient health information.

Systemic, Family Therapist intern at Mailman Segal Center for Human Development

Worked at Mailman Segal and Baudhuin School was an incredible opportunity of performing systemic, relational therapy with individuals, couples, families, groups, and relatives of children ranging from 18 months to 5 years of age in the autism spectrum, as well as exhibiting other developmental delays.

Scientific Researcher

Scientific researcher with a Curriculum Lattes sponsored by State Organization FAPERJ in Rio de Janeiro, which supports researches of public interest.  The performed research "The Internet and the Re-Invention of the Self was published and awarded among the three best researches of the year.

Author of successful case studies published in scientific, peer reviewed books and magazines, some of which were presented in Psychology Congresses and other institutions of the field.

CEO of Babycare Comercial Ltd., importer and distributor of baby products manufactured in Europe, Thailand, USA and China.  Manufacturer and distributor of own private label of baby products Babi.  Sole representative and distributor, as well as supervisor of distributors in Argentina and Chile for Austrian company of baby products MAM Babyartikel. CEO of Babysite.com.br, a scientific online library with articles from multidisciplinary peers related to pregnancy, delivery, breastfeeding, baby, father and mother care.
